Spontaneous Worldwide began bubbling in the Los Angeles Underground scene as a world wind of freestyling energy. Known around the local scene for his witty and charismatic flow and beat making skills he soon began spreading his presence throughout the open mic and Hip Hop performance scene. Born Lawrence P in the Windy City of Chicago, Illinois, Spontaneous Worldwide experienced all 5 of the Hip Hop Elements early. Graffiti art, Beatboxing, Rapping, Djn and Breakdancing in the mid 80’s as a youngster. After meeting Cory a colleague at Rio Hondo College bus stop who would soon become manager of the group he was currently in called Skillz from da Unda, he soon connected with his engineer partner Matt and began a demo run that would lead him to a promising recording career. After freestyling at club Pharcyde at Universal City walk, Spontaneous Worldwide gave his demo to the rapper he was freestyling and battling with at the club which happen to be Goodvbe Recordings CEO Matt Khane.
That relationship led to that 5 song demo tape becoming his 1st Single Deal “WATERPROOF” with Goodvibe Recording which inevitably lead to his 1st Recording Contract as well for the album “Spur Of The Moment Musik.”
Unfortunately, as the music industry began to technologically change Goodvibe Recordings discontinued their label while Spontaneous Worldwide was preparing to release his Sophmore Album “Gotta Get Money.”
After signing several local artist to his production company in the early 2000’s, Spontaneous Worldwide has been continuously working independently as Smmusik4Life Records receiving a GRAMMY NOMINATION for his production work and became the only rapper in history to release 20 Albums in 1 day as well as 22 Singles in 1 day on streaming platforms all original music, self produced, written performed and arranged with no features but himself. Although he may be under the commercial radar he still received a HAPA Nomination Award for his song on the #CANBLACKSLIVE? Compilation song “No Sleep Til Zion.”
He currently Executive Produces the Black Awareness Hip Hop Compilation #CANBLACKSLIVE? twice a year which address black issues and promotes black love, inspiration, education and social justice through the creative art of Hip Hop. He has been quoted for saying "Like beauty, Success is in the eye of the beholder, the Journey will always be my Greatest Accomplishment." Spontaneous Worldwide has truly accomplished some amazing goals in his career but once the world discovers this hidden jewel.. its just getting started.
For a Los Angeles Mc to have a star studded Rapper and Dj feature list of Xzibit, Tash of Alkaholics, Sakrates, Rock of Heltah Skeltah, Kurtis Blow, Bahamadia, Dj Revolution, Dj Phz Ed and Dj Drez, this Debut album was unmatched and critically acclaimed with several chart toppers and reviews and even received 3 MICS in Source Magazine. His buzz led to a performance on the Syndicated Show “Comic View.” Spontaneous Worldwide began traveling the country with his label mates Slum Village, Bahamadia on the GOODVIBE Tour with special guest Planet Asia & Rasco (Cali Agents). While still on the road, Spontaneous Worldwide continue his performance run with the Lyricist Lounge Tour and performed alongside Mos Def, Talib Kweli as well as Guru, Common and the Roots on the OKAY Player Tour.
His debut album Spur Of The Moment Musik was completely self written and produced giving his the title as one of the best up and coming West Coast Underground Artist/Producers. He soon formed his Production Company Spur Of The Moment Musik which also became Goodvibe Recordings go-to Producer and Engineer service for other artist such as Raekwon and Phil Da Agony. Spontaneous Worldwide began producing for Mystic and received a GRAMMY-NOMINATED award for producing “W” on her debut album Cuts for Luck and Scars for Freedom/Goodvibe Recordings.

Spontaneous added the word WORLDWIDE to the end of his name in homage to how his rap career began with his first solo demo called “Worldwide” which was originally on the demo tape that began his rap career.
His latest album “4 Da Cultur” is the return of that original freestyling world wind of talent, getting back to his roots of straight spitting, banging beats and cultural content that is sure to be a underground classic and a must have for anyone who is a true Hip Hop head.
